Mongolia is a landlocked country located in north-central Asia. Ulaanbaatar is the capital city and largest metropolis in Mongolia. Some three-fourths of Mongolia’s area consists of pasturelands, which support the immense herds of grazing livestock for which the country is known.

The Mongols are homogeneous ethnically. Within Mongolia, Khalkh Mongols constitute some four-fifths of the population. Other minority Mongolian groups account for nearly half of the rest of the population.

All of the Mongolian tribes in the nation are unreached, leaving the church with a ripe opportunity to share about the Good Shepherd that pursues every lost sheep.
