Germany

Germany is a country in north-central Europe. The nation has been a seedbed of culture and advancement for the continent. The modern printing press, Nazism, the Reformation, and influential schools of philosophy, art, and engineering have long made Germany a nation with significant global reach and influence.

Munich, the capital of Bavaria Land, is a large city in southern Germany. In 2015 Germany welcomed one million refugees, many of whom landed in Munich. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Germany has already received nearly 250,000 refugees.

As the central government continues its search for a collective identity amidst such a drastic and diverse population influx, the church in Germany has an opportunity to not only harbor sojourners but spark Jesus movements that travel to the homelands of its many peoples.
